We are one of the major retail hubs for all of Westchester /Fairfield Counties. Many of White Plains consumers are those who come to visit our great city of White Plains. We would not budget revenues at a 100%. For example, sales tax, mortgage stamps, city tax, building permits and other sources of revenue should not be entirely utilized; we learned that we need to place a portion of this money into a reserve. We need to build the budget around 85% of the revenues.

Request that the Mayor and his commissioners meet once a month in the different neighborhoods as an outreach program .
This will enhance the preservation of the community being involved
Prospecting/Advocating for new retailers to fill in the empty store fronts
For example those along Main Street and Mamaroneck Avenue
Bring in quaint stores, both Mom & Pop/bigger names creating a diverse retail opportunity for the consumer to be empowered to make purchasing for all occasions an enjoyable experience.
Beautify the Post Road corridor.
Spearhead and develop a forum group consisting of White Plains residents, White Plains Hospital and other vested retailers business along this passage.
Activate a 311 service.
